SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on July 29 with 23 members in attendance. President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to The Flag and everyone singing God Bless America. Chaplin Pauline Flitt read the Blessing : The Greatest Place.

Before the meeting began President Conover shared a few jokes. She had everyone laughing as usual.

The menu was corn, salads and desserts. Bowman Farms donated corn. The corn was awesome! Strawberries were also donated to the club this year. When you shop at Bowman’s please let them know how good their produce is and how appreciative they are.

The 50/50 winners were: Sally Shevlin, Gene Chesbro and Eleanor Lemiszko. Lucky card holders were: Joan Militello, Randy Nurmi, Janice Snyder, John Czuba (twice) and Harry Suski. Door prizes went to Flitt and Hoeber. Bingo winners were: Lemiszko, Shevlin (3 times) Earl Sheeler, Ginny Chesbro, Snyder and Czuba.

The Silver Creek Seniors also met on Tuesday July 22 with 21 members in attendance . President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to The Flag and all members singing God Bless America. The Blessing of the food and Blessing for all sick members was done by member Annette Hoeber.

The 50/50 winners were: Janice Polisoto , Harry Suski and Dixie Carlson. The lucky card holders were: Elaine Wojda, Norra Carroll, Earl Sheeler (twice), Jeanne Blakely and Randy Nurmi. Door prize winners were: Eleanor Lemiszko and Ruth Sheeler. Bingo winners were: Blakely (twice), Ginny Chesbro, Nurmi, Lemiszko ( 3 times), Suski, Carroll, Janice Snyder and Gene Chesbro.
