Cassandra Pinkoski and Matthew Brower of Dunkirk, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Peter and Christine Pinkoski of Portland. She graduated from Brocton Central School in 2008, and continued her education at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, earning a bachelor’s of science in environmental science (2012) and a master’s of science in forest resources management (2014). She is employed as a conservation technician with the Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District.

The prospective groom is the son of John Brower of Liverpool and Debra Brower of Syracuse. He graduated from Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He holds an associate’s of science in criminal justice from Onondaga Community College (2008) and a bachelor of arts degree in public justice from SUNY Oswego (2010). He is employed by Chautauqua County.

A Sept. 17, 2016 wedding is planned in Dunkirk.

Kerrin Murphy and Christopher Messina, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride to be is the daughter of Kim and Kerry Murphy of Fredonia. She graduated from Forestville Central School and Fredonia State University. She is employed by Jericho Street Ministry as an education coordinator.

The prospective groom is the son of Patty and Dean Messina of Dunkirk. He is a graduate of Dunkirk City Schools, Fredonia State University, and Salisbury University. He is a minor league strength and conditioning coach with the Portland Sea Dogs, a team affiliated with the Boston Red Sox.

An Oct. 29, 2016 wedding is planned.

Sandra J. Olson and Andrzej Kopiczak announce their engagement.

The bride to be is the daughter of Esther Lunetta of Jamestown, and the late Russell Lunetta. Her fiance is the son of the late Lydia Kopiczak.

She is employed as principal at Brocton Elementary School. Her fiance is employed as an engineer for the Department of Transportation.

A February 2017 wedding is planned.
