LeftOvers concert Nov. 15 at Collins Public Library

COLLINS – A concert featuring The LeftOvers will be at the Collins Public Library on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. The LeftOvers were founded by Jerry Shea and Pat Gerken, on the premise that good music will always bring people together.

The band won Best Acoustic Act in “Best of Buffalo” for the years 2012 and 2013. They have been nominated for Best Folk Group as well. The LeftOvers are Jerry Shea: Guitars, vocals, bad jokes, Pat Gerkin: Guitar, vocals, really bad jokes, Elizabeth Shea: Vocals, Ryan Young: Bagpipes, vocals, kilts, Dave Pruski: bass and wild outfits, Greg Kent: bodhran.

The shows are fun and lively. The music ranges from popular drinking songs to the historical and poignant songs of Irish past. They offer a large variety of tunes and ballads.

The Friends of the Collins Public Library and Collins Library sponsor the concert series. All concerts are free and open to the public, although free will donations are gratefully accepted. For more information, call the Collins Public Library at 532-5129.
