JAMESTOWN – On Friday, the Spire Theater Friday Night Jazz Concert Series at 317 E. 3rd St. will feature jazz vocalist Barbara Jean at the at 7 p.m.

Barbara Jean will sing standards from the Great American Songbook and some of her original songs that people tell her “sound like old songs”!

Barbara Jean has been performing in western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania for the past many years and is a member of the Chautauqua County Music Hall of Fame. This summer she will make her second appearance at the Lewiston Jazz Festival and her third appearance at the Erie Jazz Walk.

Her group for the Jazz At The Spire series consists of Dalt Berringer on piano, Lloyd Howard on bass, Bruce Johnstone on baritone sax and Dan Hull on drums.

John Cross will host the program that is free and open to the public.
