Northwest Arena to host biggest Grapes & Hops Festival yet

JAMESTOWN — The 4th Annual Spring Grapes & Hops Festival presented by the Media 1 Group and the Northwest Arena is returning to the Northwest Arena on Saturday, May 12 from 3-7 p.m. The event will feature beer samplings and wine tasting from local breweries and wineries, as well as business vendors from around the area.

This year’s festival will be the biggest yet, and will feature over thirty breweries and wineries on two rinks. Announced beverage vendors include: 21st Amendment Brewery, Abita Brewing Company, Allagash Brewing Company, Bells Brewery, Bent Run Brewing Company, Big Ditch Brewing Company, Black Button Distillery, Brooklyn Brewery, Burch Farms Country Market and Winery, CiderBoys Hard Cider, Collective Arts Brewing, Courtyard Winery, Dogfish Head Brewery, Ellicottville Brewing Company, Empire Brewing Company, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Flying Bison Brewing Company, Four Mile Brewing, Genesee Brew House, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Hamburg Brewing Company, Ithaca Beer Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Left Hand Brewing, MackJac Hard Cider, Main Street Winery, Merritt Winery, New Belgium Brewing, Noble Winery, Ommegang, Samuel Adams, Smuttynose Brewing Company, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Company, Thin Man Brewery, Troegs Independent Brewing, Victorianbourg Wine Estate, Victory Beer, and Woodcock Brothers Brewery.

Those in attendance can look forward to a special door prize courtesy of Evergreen Outfitters: his and hers kayaks and a three-hour lesson, valued at $1,600. Attendees can also expect a wide variety of local vendors, food, yard pong, cornhole, and karaoke with DJ Felony.

There are only 1,000 tickets available. Tickets are $25 presale, $35 the day of, and $10 for designated drivers with each participant getting a commemorative Jamestown Grapes & Hops Festival drinking glass with logo.
