FHS to present ‘Carousel’

Fredonia High School will present the classic musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Carousel” on March 20, 21, 27 & 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the District Auditorium. All tickets are $10. Reserved tickets are available at tinyurl.com/fcsdmusic or in the high school lobby from 4-6 p.m. on March 12, 19 and 26.

“Carousel” is a powerful musical with one of the most beloved scores in musical theatre history. Of their many great musicals, this was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s personal favorite. It is a musical that is rarely performed today, so this is a unique opportunity to see a live production of a classic. Famous songs include “The Carousel Waltz,” “If I Loved You,” “June is Bustin’ Out All Over” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Over 100 Fredonia students are involved in this production between the cast, pit orchestra, and backstage crew. Principal cast members include Timothy Davis (Billy Bigelow), Madonnina Gullo (Julie Jordan), Alexandra Pucci-Schaefer (Carrie Pipperidge), Trevor Napoli (Enoch Snow), Selin Arnavut (Nettie Fowler), Jack Forster (Jigger Craigin), Mckenna Taylor (Louise Bigelow) and Anna Valone (Mrs. Mullin)
