November movie series to begin at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts

JAMESTOWN — Reg Lenna Center for The Arts starts a November movie series with a showing of the real-life drama “Stronger” on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. and the spy action film “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. Admission to each is $5.

Inspired by a true story and based on the New York Times bestseller, “Stronger” stars Jake Gyllenhaal as the working-class Boston man whose iconic photo from the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing captured the hearts of the world. The film is the deeply personal account of the heroic journey that came after that photo — defining a man’s inner courage, a community’s pride, a family’s bond and an unexpectedly tenacious love. “Stronger” is Rated R and is 119 minutes long.

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman — an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the U.S. called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy. The film stars Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges. “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” is Rated R and is 139 minutes long.

This location is open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
