D’Agostino was inspired to write her book after visiting the Boldt Castle in the Thousand Islands region of New York State. “I was highly motivated, obsessed even, with the stories I heard about the Boldt family and the mysteries that remain unsolved to this day. I crafted a story that readers will find suspenseful and entertaining.”
