Concert series planned in Collins
COLLINS — Collins Library will kick off their concert series Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. with Kokomo Time Band, a group that features upbeat oldies.
Creek Bend will visit the library on June 27 to perform some of their best bluegrass and country favorites.
The Buffalo Touch will be bringing polka to the library on July 11, which is one of the most fun and entertaining bands of the year. The Blue Mule Duo will perform some blue-grass and Americana on Aug. 1. Aug. 29 will bring a new group, The Untouchables with some oldies and rock hits. The final concert of the year will feature Paul Zittel and Pure Country on Friday Sept. 26, and will coincide with the Friends of the Library Book Sale and Basket Raffle, so make sure you don’t miss it!
The concerts are sponsored by the Collins Public Library and the Friends of the Collins Public Library. The Collins Library is located at 2341 Main St. in Collins. Concerts start at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6:30. All of the concerts are free and open to the public. If you require an accommodation please contact the library at least seven days in advance.
