Kody & Herren are a dynamic Americana duo hailing from Springville, captivating audiences with their heartfelt melodies and rich storytelling. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like CCR, Bonnie Raitt, & Tom Petty their music embodies a blend of roots rock, country, folk sensibilities with modern authenticity.
In 2023, Kody & Herren released their debut album, “Till The Sun Will Rise,” a self-produced collection that explores themes of love, nature, travel, and the journey of self-discovery. Each track invites listeners on a reflective journey, showcasing their ability to weave poignant narratives with engaging rhythms.
With performances across New York, Pennsylvania, California, Virginia, and Florida, Kody & Herren have established themselves as a must-see act, delivering magnetic live shows that resonate with diverse audiences. As an acoustic duo, their performances are stripped down and intimate. When backed by a band, they continue to evolve their sound and remain committed to sharing their passion for music.
Fuzzy & The Rustbelts are an All-American band blending country, folk, and rock ‘n roll into a sound that’s both raw and timeless. Since forming in 2019, they’ve released two LPs, two EPs, and a string of singles, gaining recognition from local and national media alike. Their latest ten track album, Out West, explores the complexities of love, loss, and the emotional weight of adulthood.
Known for their honest songwriting and dynamic live performances, the band has earned accolades like winning Buffalo’s 106.5 WYRK Taste of Country Riser Competition and being named Best Country Act at the All WNY Music Awards three years running. They’ve also shared the stage with artists including Rodney Atkins, Miranda Lambert, Allison Krauss, Bonnie Raitt, and Willie Nelson, further cementing their place in the Americana and country music scenes. Guests are reminded to bring a chair. Food trucks and other vendors will be on site along with the city’s beverage tent. The Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace and surrounding harbor front businesses will also be open with food, drink and merchandise options.
Dunkirk event brochures are available from the boardwalk atrium, Dunkirk City Hall or on-line. Any questions or concerns during the event should be directed to the beverage tent staff members.
