CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga are excited to announce their next Summer Music Series concert.
On Sunday, Aug. 10, there will be an all-country show, with the Rustic Ramblers headlining the evening from 5-7 p.m.
The Rustic Ramblers, who have been playing together for 21 years, will play traditional country music that America has always loved on the Floating Stage. All four musicians hail from Western New York and will take you down a lane of classic country music that you won’t want to miss. Get your cowboy hats and boots on and come on down to Cassadaga Beach on Park Avenue.
Before the Rustic Ramblers, at 4 p.m. in the gazebo, Jack Blodgett, a Hank Williams Tribute musician, will be performing. Jack got his inspiration from the Rustic Ramblers. It is a pleasure to host both Jack and the old time country band together.
Cassadaga Beach offers picnic tables, shady trees, playground and lifeguards will be on duty. Cassadaga Youth Sports will be cooking so you don’t have to! You could also bring your own cooler if you’d like. Come by boat or come by land. Extra parking is available at the nearby fire hall, church and library. Please leave the prime beach parking for those who can’t do the walk.
Local artists and authors are invited to set up shop at the concert. Please call 716 665-8855, if you are interested.
Funding is made possible through Arts Services Inc.’s Creative Impact Fund thanks to a New York State Senate Initiative supported by the NYS Legislature and the Office of the Governor and administered by the New York Council on the Arts.
In case of inclement weather, this concert will be held at the American Legion Post 1280 or the Cassadaga Fire Hall. For more information, call 716 665-8855.
