SILVER CREEK — The 59th annual Festival of Grapes in Silver Creek will feature a couple of events worth noting. First is something special this year for the kids, a youth Pentathlon. It will be held at the Silver Creek Central School on Saturday, Sept. 12, the weekend before the Festival of Grapes. All area children within the ages 6 to 11, regardless of school district, are invited to participate. There will be five events geared toward two age groups, 6-8, and 9-11.
