WESTFIELD — In the fall of 2024, Westfield’s Lake Shore Center for the Arts (LSCFTA), on the heels of their hugely successful Juicebox International One Act Competition, turned to music for a new venture called the Songwriters Circle Series. BROCTON — Brocton Portland Seniors met Aug. 25 at the Brocton Legion with Vice President Tom DeJoe opening the meeting for 52 members. Pastor Clara Wilder gave a prayer of gratitude and Laurel Giambra led the Pledge of Allegiance. Committee members thanked for setting up tables were Jim and Duane Hemmis, Becky Dalziel and Chip Winchell and Brian Stanton.
