About 45 Seniors met for lunch on May 17 at the VFW in Mayville. Devotions were done by Dianne Goodrich followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Bonnie Johnson, President. The Secretary and Treasurer reports were read as well as two thank you letters. Jeff Wagner, Sr. Council Rep, stated the Midway Picnic will be held August 10 and tickets will be sold for $8 each. A rep of OFA will be selling tickets at our next meeting. The Dinner Social is scheduled August 22 and tickets are $13 each. Mary Carlson reported mailing two get well cards. She also sent a birthday card to lifetime member and assistant secretary, Izetta Ayling.

Janet Loomis and Jeff Wagner reported that 35 travelers have signed up for a ride on the Fulton Canal in Ohio on Tuesday, July 10. There are still seats available on the bus but reservations must be made by June 1. Please call Janet 761-6687 or Jeff 753-6832. Also, a date for lunch on the Summerwind will be announced in June.

Thanks were given to the kitchen committee composed of Louise Richir, Dolly Gilbert, Joyce Ayers and Nancy Cole.

Bonnie welcomed new members, Charles Carlson, Richard Hoglund, Joann Hoglund, and Pat Johnson. Door prizes were won by Annabelle Weise, John Kroll and Mary Carlson.

We were entertained by John Savage who skillfully played guitar and sang. He also conducted a sing a long of old time tunes which we loved!

Our next luncheon meeting is scheduled Thursday, June 7 at noon at the Mayville VFW. After this meeting Bingo will be played!
