Seniors Keeping Active

What ever happened to the oldest senior active group in the area? It went by the name of Share & Care Seniors and had hundreds and hundreds of members for years and years. The scrap books, pictures and newspaper articles are still around to prove it. Well, this senior group continues to get together and enjoy parties, pinochle and fellowship. We continue to encourage our senior friends to meet and keep track of one another. We share and care. The gatherings are fewer and farther between and earlier in the day with good weather. There are no longer membership meetings or dues. The goal is just to get together, have fun, a good meal, and see how everyone is doing. There is a volunteer group that handles the arrangements and keeps the group alive. They plan and schedule the events.

The weather is improving, the days longer, and Share & Care Seniors have met and are planning another reunion for May 15 at noon at the Fredonia Beaver Club in Fredonia. All area seniors are welcome. Save the date and details will follow.
