St. Columban’s On the Lake Touch of Love Group has been very active throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group of men and women have made more than 200 masks, painted rocks to hide, comfort pillows, made and distributed several corn bags and are currently working on bags for their Christmas project for Willow Mission with some of these pictures were taken prior to COVID-19.

St. Columban’s Touch of Love Group, has given our senior a purpose and a feeling of usefulness in our community. Having to stay in our little bubble confines some of our activities but there is no confinement in giving.

Our regular groups we donate to are Circle of Love, Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, Lakeshore Humane Society and Willow Mission,” said Sue McAvoy, activities director. “I am so proud of the kindness and dedication this group shows through acts of kindness.”
