SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on June 1 with 32 members present.

President Newman welcomed back Sue Duecker and then opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and God Bless America. Pauline Flitt offered a prayer and blessing of the food. We enjoyed cakes made by Joan Suski and Ruth Sheeler and ice cream to celebrate May and June birthdays. Those with birthdays were Earl Sheeler, Jim Spano, Carm Tampio and Mary Ann Seibert. President Newman also remembered those who had birthdays when we were closed due to COVID.

The 50-50 winners were Sue Borowski, Harry Suski and Lorrie Newman. Wheel of Fortune winners were Kim Munch, Carol DePasquale, Jim, Ruth, Joan, Betty Moores, and Earl. Lucky winners of the prizes were Kim, Jim, and Bob Sutehall.

Challenging bingo was called by Janice Snyder, and winners were Harry Suski, Kim (3times), Pauline, Jim, Gene Chesbro, Annette Hoeber and Don Hoeber.

The next meeting will be a salad luncheon. Members may bring salad, veggies, or desserts.

The Senior Citizens meet every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, West of Silver Creek. Call President Newman at 934-2170 for more information.
