Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, July 13 with 33 members and guests present. President Ed Newman opened with the pledge to the flag and everyone singing God Bless America. Carm Tampio offered a prayer for the meal, and the chance to be together. President Newman then welcomed guests Brad and Harriet Herbert and welcomed back Max and Margaret Church.

Members enjoyed a pot luck lunch which featured a wide variety of delicious dishes and desserts. A big thank you to all the cooks.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Sherry Spano, Sally Shevlin and Kim Munch. Winners of the gifts were Kim, Brad, and Enabell Mirando. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: MaryAnn Seibert (twice), Betty Moores, Phyllis Burghardt, Janice Snyder, Enabell, Eleanor Lemiszko, Sherry, and Sally.

Bingo was called by Ed and the winners were: Harry Suski, Janice, Ginny Chesbro, Linda Stern (twice), Kim, Eleanor, Lorrie Newman, Ron Conover, Jim Spano and Joan Militello.

Next Tuesday’s luncheon will feature a salad bar and desserts.

The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call 934-2170.
