Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Sept. 9 with 25 in attendance. Annette Hoeber had her daughter Peggy visiting also. Everyone welcomed new member Ruth Cardace. President Sally Conover started the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and everyone singing “My Country Tis of Thee.” Chaplain Pauline Flitt read the Blessing “Awaken Each Morning.” Grilled hot dogs, side dishes and snacks were enjoyed by everyone. United Senior Citizens list coming events

The United Senior Citizens met April 14 at the Falcon Club, Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk to enjoy food, camaraderie and a few bingo games afterward. United Senior Citizens is one of many senior organizations in Chautauqua County that fills a need for senior citizens — 55 and older — to enjoy lunch while enhancing nurturing socialization with other seniors.
