Silver Creek seniors meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on March 25 with 25 members and guests present. President Sally Conover opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. She then welcomed visitors David and Janet Tofani and Cybele McIntosh. Everyone enjoyed the pot luck lunch and desserts. Jokes were shared by Arlene Miller, Jen Zlotnik and Sally C. Pauline Flitt read “An Irish Blessing, and A Prayer to St. Joseph that never fails.” She then offered a prayer for the members and the meal. Lunch featured ham and cabbage. Grape Belt Seniors announce day trips for coming months

Grape Belt Seniors are happy to announce seven of our trips for 2025, with maybe more to come as they are completed. The newest trip is to Niagara Casino for the Matinee Comedic show presentation filled with history and humor starring stand-up comic host Joel Dombrowski. He will be revealing 300 years of history, humor and compelling stories of daredevils and tightrope walkers. Attendees will get the show, $25 in slot play and $5 toward food. Leaving at 10:30 a.m. and returning at 7 p.m. July 22 with a cost of $50. The first trip will be to Cleveland for the Yankee baseball game on ...
