Kristen Wielgasz and Garrett Castle were announced as the Silver Creek High School Class of 2019 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Valedictorian — Kristen Wielgasz: Her high school activities and interests include soccer, Key Club, National Honor Society, community service, participation in the musical, Shakespeare on the Lake and Playground Drama Camp. She plans to attend the State University of New York at Fredonia to major in musical theater with her sights set on working as an actor with a back-up career plan of computer programming. She is the daughter of Ken and Kim Wielgasz.

Salutatorian — Garrett Castle: His high school activities and interests include National Honor Society, working a lot as a crew member at the Angola travel plaza, and building and working on computers in his free time. He plans to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to study computer engineering. He’d like to be an artificial intelligence researcher for Google someday. He is the son of Sue Castle and Al Castle.

The Class of 2019 Class Officers are: President Makenzie Pagano; Vice Presidents Emma Rice and Lily League; Secretary Savannah Seeley and Treasurer Madison Mott.
