Silver Creek VFW Post 6472 hosted a promotion ceremony Sept. 1 for Dr. Cristina Bacho, D.O. She was promoted to Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Forces. The oath was given by her fiance, Ryan Breckenridge. She graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2003.
