The Aero Club of Buffalo will be awarding two $2,000 scholarships for spring 2021.

They are the Fran Bainbridge Flight Training Scholarship to a flight student pursuing a private pilot or higher certificate (flight solo is required for this scholarship) and the Thomas P. Kopera School Tuition Assistance Scholarship.

Applicants for the Thomas P. Kopera scholarship must be planning a career in the field of aviation, to include but not limited to, A & P Mechanic, aerospace engineer, airport manager, aviation educator, air traffic controller, and commercial or airline pilot.

All applicants for both scholarships must be between the ages of 17-25 years old and live or be a student within the Western New York region (as defined in the criteria materials).

The application deadline is April 19.
