Renae Irvine and Luke Michael Hodorowicz were united in marriage on Aug. 17, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Harris Lake Park in Apex, N.C. Emily Ashcraft performed the ceremony. Scott Eppinga, guitarist, provided music for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sandy Bachman of Fenelton, Pa. The groom is the son of Michael and Linda Hodorowicz of Dunkirk.

The bride carried a bouquet of wild brown-eyed Susans picked for her by the groom.

The maid of honor was Christie-Sue Cheely of Raleigh, N.C., friend of the bride.

The best man was Joseph Hodorowicz of Key West, Fla., brother of the groom.

After the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held at the home of the maid of honor.

The bride obtained her bachelor of science degree from Allegheny College, and her master of science from North Carolina State University. She is currently employed by Western Pa. Conservancy as a fisheries biologist.

The groom obtained his bachelor of science degree from Renesselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is self-employed as a software engineer.

The couple honeymooned in Cape Cod. They now reside in Hollidaysburg, Pa.
