Amber Elizabeth Foley and Michael Alan Patterson were united in marriage Sept. 13. Held on Cape Cod, Mass. along the Bass River, the outdoor double ring ceremony was officiated by the groom’s brother, Mark Patterson of Selkirk, N.Y.

The bride is the daughter of John and Tracy Foley of West Hyannisport, Mass. The groom is the son of William and Patricia Patterson of Fredonia.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, sweetheart bodice Da Vinci gown. The bride’s fingertip length veil was edged with lace from her mother’s wedding dress.

Ringbearer was the bride’s nephew, Lincoln Page of Pike, N.H. A reception, immediately following the ceremony, was held at the same site.

A 2008 graduate of Western New England College, the bride is employed as the legal assistant for the Town of Barnstable.

The groom, a 2005 graduate of State University Fredonia, earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2008 from Boston College Law School. He is an assistant district attorney at the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office.

Following a honeymoon to Sonoma, Calif., the couple is at home in Hyannis, Mass.
