Wedding

Genevieve (Jenna) Elizabeth Barbara Beichner and Bradley (B.J.) Jordan Monacelli exchanged their personal wedding vows and were united in marriage on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. The double-ring ceremony took place at Peek’n Peak Resort in Findley Lake. Pastor Jim Bailey of the Park United Methodist Church in Sinclairville officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Cheryl Beichner of Cassadaga. The groom is the son of Glenn and Lisa Monacelli, also of Cassadaga.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an elegant and romantic champagne trumpet gown with ivory lace overlay. The dress featured sheer sleeves, open back, beaded lace embroidery, an illusion neckline, and a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of pink, peach and white garden roses, pink spray roses, white stock, baby’s breath and seeded eucalyptus.

Lauren Beichner of Cassadaga, friend and sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. She wore a classic strapless, floor-length, navy chiffon dress with an empire waist, and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas accented with pink spray roses and seeded eucalyptus.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Wykstra of Lyle, Wash., friend of the bride; Morganne Monacelli of Cassadaga, sister of the groom; and Melissa Heitzenrater-Beichner of Cassadaga, sister-in-law of the bride, who also sang a beautiful rendition of “The Prayer,” alternately in English and Italian. The bridesmaids wore gowns that were variations of that worn by the matron of honor and carried identical bouquets.

Mitchell Kyser of Erie, Pa., cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Andrew Pingitore of Columbia, S. C., friend of the groom; Cody Kyser, cousin of the groom from Erie, Pa.; Joseph Martinez of St. Augustine, Fla, friend of the groom; and Aaron and Jeremy Beichner, brothers of the bride from Cassadaga. The ring bearers were twins Brayden and Brody Beichner of Cassadaga, nephews of the bride and sons of Aaron and Lauren Beichner.

A reception immediately followed at The Lodge of Peek’n Peak. Out-of-town guests from California, Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland were in attendance, including many of the groom’s football teammates from Washington and Jefferson College.

The bride earned a bachelor of science in exercise science from the University at Buffalo and a master of education in physical education at Canisius College. The groom is a 2014 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, where he earned a bachelor of arts in business. They are both graduates of Cassadaga Valley High School. The couple is currently residing in Cassadaga and is planning a European honeymoon in July 2016.

Emily Ann Harrington and Gregory Elliott Bossart exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 10, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church in Westfield. The Reverend Matthew Golibersuch performed the mid-afternoon ceremony. Gretchen Golibersuch was the ceremony pianist. The reception was held at Shorewood Country Club, Dunkirk.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia Harrington of Mayville and Michael and Adele Harrington of Westfield. She is also the granddaughter of Pauline Baron of Jamestown.

The groom is the son of the Rev. Kenneth and Paula Bossart of Greensburg, Pa. He is also the grandson of Lester Bossart of Jeannette, Pa.

The bride was escorted by her father and wore a Maggie Sottero Giovanna gown. The A-line silhouette gown contained sequins and corded lace on tulle over chic organza. The scooped neckline dress was finished with a corset back closure and a champagne satin belt set with corded lace and Swarovski crystals.

The maid of honor was Sara Schwab and the bridesmaids were Kathleen Nicholas, Brooke Bartolomeo, and Marayd Allen. The best man was Kevin Hargnett and the groomsmen were Michael Lavrich, Steven Kelly, and Ryan Kelly.

The bride is a graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School and received her bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Behrend campus. She is a Ph.D. candidate in molecular pharmacology and chemical biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. She currently performs breast cancer research at Magee Women’s Research Institute.

The groom graduated from Greensburg Salem High School and also received his bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Behrend Campus. He is an electrical engineer at Allegheny Technologies Incorporated in Brackenridge, Pa. He is completing his master’s degree in electrical engineering through the Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.

The couple is residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will honeymoon in Tortola of the British Virgin Islands at the end of this year.

Wedding

Megan Morrison and Matthew Harriman exchanged wedding vows on July 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmira.

The bride is the daughter of John and Cheryl Morrison of Elmira. Her husband is the son of Don and Cheryl Harriman of Jamestown. They both attended the State University of New York at Fredonia. The bride is employed as a school psychologist in the Horseheads Central School District. Her husband is employed as an auditor at Chemung Canal Trust Company in Elmira.

The couple honeymooned in Ireland and are currently living in Elmira.

Wedding

Jena Marie Muscato and Jeremy Jon Gullo were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk.

The wedding included a unity sand ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Sandra and Joseph Muscato of Waverly, N.Y.

The groom is the son of Cathy Cummings of Silver Creek and Joseph Gullo III of North East, Pa.

A reception at the White Inn in Fredonia followed the wedding ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Gullo are at home in Erie, Pa.

Janelle Kathryn Szwejbka and Craig Peter Young exchanged their personal wedding vows and were united in marriage on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. The double-ring ceremony took place at Vizcarra Vineyards (Becker Farms) in Gasport, N.Y. The Reverend Josh Hamlin of the New Covenant Church in the town of Tonawanda officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mari Ellen (Ginger) and James F. Szwejbka, Jr., both of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Peter (Karen) Young of Amherst.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an ivory floor length, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, a tulle drop waist A-line with a chiffon bodice and an elegant satin ribbon sash woven through sparkling embellishments. She carried a bouquet of ivory, lavender and purple roses accented with white garden flowers, purple limonium and green leaves.

Josalyn Szwejbka of Dunkirk served as her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a wisteria floor length, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a chiffon bodice with ornate beading at the top and carried a bouquet of ivory roses accented with white garden flowers and green leaves.

Bridesmaids were Marissa Szwejbka and Elizabeth Szwejbka of Williamsville, both cousins of the bride; and Amanda Tuggle of Dunkirk, Megan Casewell of Tonawanda, and Sarah Dispenza of Buffalo, friends of the bride. The bridesmaids each wore an iris floor length, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a chiffon bodice with ornate beading at the top and each carried a bouquet of ivory roses accented with white garden flowers and green leaves.

A special guest at the event was Manon Huetter from Germany. The bride’s family had hosted her as an exchange student several years ago. She and the bride became very close during this time and still think of themselves as sisters.

A reception followed at the Gardenview venue on the grounds of Vizcarra Vineyards in Gasport.

Kyle Young of Tonawanda and Jeremy Young of Amherst served as their brother’s best men. Ushers were Edward Casewell II of Tonawanda and Joshua Bastian of Grand Island, friends of the groom.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Dunkirk Senior High School and a 2015 graduate of Daemen College. She is employed at the Lake Plains Medical Center in Medina as a physician assistant.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Sweet Home Senior High School and a 2015 graduate of Daemen College.He is employed at Orthosports Physical Therapy in Clarence as a physical therapist.

Following a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple is at home in Amherst.
