Wedding

Kalie Karen Haight, formerly of Fredonia, and Conor Sean-Michael McKenna of Fairport were united in marriage on July 25, 2015. The double ring ceremony and reception were held at Burgundy Basin in Bushnell’s Basin, N.Y.

The bride is the daughter of Gordon and Diane Haight of Fredonia and the groom is the son of Kevin and Kathleen McKenna of Fairport.

The maid of honor was cousin of the bride Erica Haight. Bridesmaids were Sara Haight, sister-in-law of the bride, Carly Logan, Kristen Thon, Julie Arnold and Ashley Olson, all friends of the bride.

The best man was Tyler Bidwell, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Steven Haight, brother of the bride, Ryan Wacienga, Michael Thon, Benjamin Crimmins and Christopher Pierri, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Matthew Wood, Trevor and Connor Rice, friends of the groom.

Michaela Sprague, flower girl and Kyle Berkshire, ring bearer are both second cousins of the bride.

Readings were given by Karen Smolar, godmother of the groom, Robert Scott, uncle of the bride, Laurie Berkshire, cousin of the bride and David Barker, friend of the groom.

A special tribute, “You Raise Me Up,” was sung by Erik Kolodziej, cousin of the groom and Amanda Wickmark, friend of the bride.

Guests attended from Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Germany.

The bride is a certified and state licensed dental assistant at East Avenue Dentistry in Rochester. The groom is a graduate of Mercyhurst University with a degree in sports management and is employed at Izzo Golf in Macedon, N.Y. as a project manager.

The couple honeymooned in St. John’s and St. Thomas, due in part as special gifts from their families.

The couple lives in Victor, N.Y. with their lovable dogs Max and Molly.
