Mr. and Mrs. Kevin M. Glasier

Friends and relatives were invited to celebrate the long-awaited engagement of Betty Jo Skinner and Kevin Mathew Glasier on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

Guests were surprised when Betty Jo and Kevin were united in marriage. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Daniel Skinner, a nephew, of the Salamanca Free Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of the late George and Darleen (Smoczynski) Skinner of Cassadaga. The groom is the son of Richard and Patricia Glasier of Dunkirk.

The bride was escorted by her godfather, Stan Coombes, of North Carolina. Her best women were her daughters Lynda Kelso and Samantha Church. Bridesmaid and flower girls were granddaughters Kaelee Kelso, Alana Kelso and Zoey Church.

Steve Glaiser, brother, and Scott Laurito, friend, were best men for the groom. Groomsman was Tim Kelso Jr., son-in-law. Ring bearer was grandson Orlo Kelso.

Along with rings, they also exchanged traditional vows and personal promises.

A party reception immediately followed at Pondview Place Pavilion, property of their friends, Jim and Joan Lisa.

The bride is employed at Verizon in Jamestown as an operations specialist and the groom is employed at Dunkirk Aviation.

A Sky Adventure at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville is planned. The couple is home in Sheridan with their cats Mitsy, Civic and Monte, and Chocolate Lab, Ayce.
