Wedding

Lindsey Brown and Justin Burke exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 13, 2016, at the Dens Adelsman Klub, Gerry. Pastor Richard Hamilton performed the ceremony. Music was provided by DJ Dan Warren.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Susan Brown of Jamestown, and the granddaughter of Jan Groat of Jamestown, and John Brown of Ellery Center. Her husband is the son of John and Gloria Burke of Stockton, and the grandson of Carol Crossan of Eden, and Joseph Burke of Hamburg, N.Y.

The bride wore an A-line beaded tulle wedding gown that featured delicate beading and romantic lace appliques.

Kislyn Frary was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Charissa Wallace-Buchanan, Kristen Bixby, Jenna Yuchnitz, Alissa Berg and Chloe Burke. Flower girls were Irene, Lulu and Molly Burke.

Best man was Jeremy Burke. Ushers and groomsmen were Dan Meder, Justin Peterson and Josh Burke. Ring bearers were Bentley and Gavin Brown.

Master and mistress of ceremonies were Troy and Mamie Berg and Dale and Charcy Kinney.

The couple honeymooned in Hershey. Pa., and Gettysburg, Pa.

Wedding

On Friday, July 29, 2016, Eric Golem and Evan Skrzypek gathered with all their closest friends and family for a sunset wedding ceremony at Lake Erie State Park on the cliffs overlooking Lake Erie.

The wedding party included Lily Golem (2-year-old flower girl) accompanied by Aunt Cassie Skrzypek, Ellis Golem (10-month-old ring bearer) pulled in a wagon by Uncle Steve Skrzypek. Steve Skrzypek Sr. walked his daughter down the aisle.

Family friend Lynn Bedford officiated the ceremony, and Wendy and Scott Richardson of BB Photography shot the photos.

A family friendly BBQ/bon-fire reception was held the following day, July 30, at the home of Ruth and Butch Golem (Eric’s parents) with the help of Lynn and Gary Hoth (Evan’s mom and stepdad). The theme included burlap, lace and succulents, with a memory table, a 3D frosted cake and cupcakes (by Lacey Kohl Miller) and live plants and homemade jelly as favors. There were play stations for the little kids and big kid games at the back of the yard.

Wedding

April Powers and Steven Shoup exchanged vows on Aug. 27, 2016 at Michael’s in Hamburg. Christopher Powers officiated the ceremony, and music during the ceremony was performed by Claudia Didley.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Cathy Powers of Sinclairville and the groom is the son of Priscilla and Rodney Shoup of Gerry.

Joelle Dziduch of Cassadaga served as the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were sisters and friends of the bride: Rhonda Shoup of Forestville, Catie Diate of Chardon, Ohio, Ashlee Rhoades of Stockton and Brittany Powers of Sinclairville.

The flower girls were Alivia Shoup, daughter of the bride and groom and Paislee Shoup, niece of the groom.

The best man was Eric Diate of Chardon, friend of the groom.

The ushers were Dan Shoup of Forestville, brother of the groom; Dan Miller of Sinclairville, friend of the groom and Nick Wise of Hamburg, friend of the groom.

The ring bearer was Tucker Shoup, nephew of the groom.

A reception was also held at Michael’s in Hamburg.

The bride graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School in 2007 and SUNY Fredonia in 2014. She is employed with Jamestown Public Schools.

The groom graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School in 2005 and works as a contractor.

A honeymoon is scheduled for a future date.

Wedding

Nicole Cummings of Fredonia and Colby Adamowicz of Fredonia were united in marriage on Sept. 3, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the gazebo at the Clarion Hotel in Dunkirk. The ceremony was performed by officiant Tony Pulci.

The bride is the daughter of Marvin and Vicki Cummings of Silver Creek and Cathy Cummings of Silver Creek.

The groom is the son of Aaron and Amy Ricotta of Fredonia, and Brad Pachol of Howell, Mich.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Her honor attendants were her sisters, Courtney Cummings and Emily Bain of Silver Creek

The groom’s honor attendant was his brother, Cameron Pachol of Howell.

The bride attended Jamestown Community College and works for Pandora Jewelry.

The groom attended Forsyth Technical Community college and works for IBEW Local 70 out of Washington, D.C. for Henkles & McCoy.

The couple now resides in Richmond, Va. and are expecting a baby girl in February 2017.

Kara Rossi and Daniel Snyder were united in marriage July 23, 2016 in a double-ring ceremony at the Dunkirk Conference Center.

The bride is the daughter of Enzo Rossi and Kathleen Rich Rossi, both of Dunkirk.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Sharon Snyder of Dunkirk.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride chose her best friend, Abbey Graves as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included cousins Sarah Borrello, Emily Howard, Christina Kubacki, sister-in-law Maggie Snyder and friend Pam Waclawski. Cousins Lauren Kubacki and Brook Kubacki were junior bridesmaids. Niece Julianna Snyder served as flower girl.

The groom chose his friend Randy Draggett as his best man. Groomsmen included brothers Scott Snyder and Casey Snyder, brother-in-law Kyle Rossi, and friends Joseph Sullivan and Angelo Zappie.

A reception followed at the Dunkirk Conference Center.

The couple is at home in Dunkirk.

Amanda Elyse DiPalma and Corey James Knox were united in marriage on June 25, 2016 at Samuel’s Grande Manor in Williamsville.

The Rev. Helen Sam officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Margarita and Paul DiPalma of Fredonia.

The groom is the son of Deb and Scott Knox of Webster, N .Y.

The couple resides in Indianapolis, Ind.
