Gwen K. Stokes and Matthew S. Gostomski were united in marriage on May 23, 2021 at the home of the bride’s grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Josef Powell in Conewango Valley. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Reverend James LaBarr and Pastor Will Lowry.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Stokes of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Scott and Tracy Gostomski of Cattaraugus.

Claire Stokes, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor; and Luke Gostomski, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The bride is a 2016 graduate of Fredonia High School and a 2020 graduate of Houghton College. She is currently a second-year dental student at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL. She receives the Health Professions Scholarship through the United States Army and is a Second Lieutenant.

The groom is a 2015 graduate of Cattaraugus-Little Valley High School and a 2019 graduate of Houghton College. He is employed as a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe’s Home Improvement in Sarasota, FL.

The couple now resides in Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton), FL.
