ELLICOTT POLICE - Michael G. Newman, 45, of Falconer was charged with first-degree menacing with a weapon and second-degree harassment on July 21 after officers responded to a disorderly person. Newman was allegedly waving a hatchet around and pouring lighter fluid on the apartment floor threatening to burn the building down. Newman was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. Newman will be in Ellicott Town Court later. - Jesse B. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Tony L. Mosley, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree assault. At around 11:12 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 207 Foote Ave (UPMC Chautauqua) for a disorderly subject. Through an investigation it was found thatMosley assaulted a staff member and caused thousands of dollars of damage to hospital equipment. JAMESTOWN POLICE – Evein E. Fuller, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with felony second-degree assault. Around 2:30 p.m., officers of the first platoon responded to a Northside address for a reported stabbing. Officers quickly located Fuller and placed him into custody. It is alleged Fuller had stabbed a subject during an argument over a cellphone. Fuller was transported to city jail without incident and held pending arraignment. FALCONER - Issues at Ellicott hotels drew a pair of police responses over the past week., including a woman who ran from police during a warrant check Sunday. Jasmine N. Calloway, 41, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree escape, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and two counts of petit larceny at 10:58 a.m. Sunday. Finney, 30, of Corry was charged with failure to keep right, DWI, DWI per se and tampering with physical evidence at 6:07 p.m. July 12 after a motor vehicle accident on Clymer-Sherman Road.
