CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — CHAUTAUQUA — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office was made aware of a vehicle complaint on Route 430 around 5 p.m. Friday. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator to be Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Kennedy. Following an investigation, Wyant was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, speed in zone, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE - Devven L. Fletcher, 41, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and inadequate lights after officers pulled a vehicle over at 9:15 p.m. Thursday on Fairmount Avenue after officers saw a vehicle being driven without lights. Officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of burnt cannabis coming from the vehicle and reportedly saw a half-smoked joint in the center console of the vehicle. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - Michael R. Welder, 43, of Mayville was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:30 a.m. Thursday after a domestic incident on Canada Road. Welder allegedly communicated electronic threats of harm to a woman and allegedly damaged property belonging to the woman. Welder was found at an address in the town of Chautauqua and was charged without incident. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Eliel Rodriguez, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday after officers on a STRIVE domestic violence detail responded to a residence on the south side of Jamestown for a reported domestic dispute. Rodriguez was allegedly involved in an altercation with another person in front of multiple children that reportedly caused the children to be visibly upset and endangered their welfare. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - MAYVILLE - Heather R. Coon, 33, of Mayville was charged with third-degree criminal mischief at 1:03 p.m. Monday after deputies responded to an address in the town of Chautauqua for a report of an altercation. Coon allegedly damaged the property of another person valued at more than $250. Coon was taken to the Sheriff's Office for processing before being taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE - LAKEWOOD - Christina M. Estus, 49, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 1:51 a.m. Friday after a Lakewood-Busti patrol officer pulled a vehicle over on Fairmount Avenue and Southwestern Drive. Assistance was provided by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies, Ellicott police and the New York State Police, who charged Estus after an investigation.
