CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - MAYVILLE - Heather R. Coon, 33, of Mayville was charged with third-degree criminal mischief at 1:03 p.m. Monday after deputies responded to an address in the town of Chautauqua for a report of an altercation. Coon allegedly damaged the property of another person valued at more than $250. Coon was taken to the Sheriff's Office for processing before being taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

Estus, 49, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 1:51 a.m. Friday after a Lakewood-Busti patrol officer pulled a vehicle over on Fairmount Avenue and Southwestern Drive. Assistance was provided by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies, Ellicott police and the New York State Police, who charged Estus after an investigation. It was later determined the vehicle operator, Peter Way, 31, of Pittsburgh, was driving while intoxicated. Way was issued tickets for driving while intoxicated, speed in zone, and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle.
