SHERIDAN — On April 14 at roughly 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a past tense burglary on Pennsylvania Avenue. It was learned that property was removed from a shed without permission. Upon further investigation, it is alleged that Trista Taggart, 32, of Gowanda, and Ryan Taggart, 38, of Gowanda, entered the shed without permission and took property that did not belong to them.

Trista Taggart was charged with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. She was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sheridan Court at a later date. Ryan Taggart was arrested on a warrant for third-degree burglary and petit larceny. He was then transported to Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment through the centralized arraignment program.
