Silver Creek man arrested after
gunshot incident
SILVER CREEK — A village resident has been charged after firing a rifle early Thursday in the Robinson Street area.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies charged Jacob D. Seeley, 26, of 71 Robinson Street with first-degree reckless endangerment after he discharged a round from a .22 caliber rifle across a road and toward a grape vineyard.
Seeley was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment proceedings.
He was later released to the supervision of probation.
