HANOVER — A Buffalo man has been arrested after allegedly driving while intoxicated with multiple children in the car.

On Dec. 8 Eliezer Morales, 39, of Buffalo, was arrested on four counts of felony driving while intoxicated, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, failure to dim headlamps, speed in zone and moving from lane unsafely.

Deputies stopped a vehicle in the Town of Hanover for multiple alleged traffic violations. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator of the vehicle, Morales, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Morales was also found to be operating the vehicle intoxicated with multiple children under the ages of 15 in the vehicle. The children’s ages ranged from less than a year old to 11 years of age.

Morales was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized assignment.

ELLINGTON — On Dec. 8, troopers arrested Austin Bratton, 19, of Ellington, and charged him with third-degree criminal mischief.

Troopers responded to a residence in Ellington for a report of a broken window. Investigation revealed that when removing his vehicle from the property, Bratton threw several items through the rear window of the complainant’s vehicle, causing hundreds of dollars in damage. Bratton was processed at the Jamestown barracks and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellington Court later in the month.
