¯ On Dec. 8, Krystalyn Lebarron, 24, of Silver Creek was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Deputies observed a vehicle to be traveling at a high rate of speed on Rt. 60 in Dunkirk. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified Lebarron as the operator. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested and charged her with two counts of DWI and speed in zoning. She will answer her charges in Dunkirk Town Court.

¯ SHERIDAN — On Dec. 10, Edward T. Wilson, 24, of Fredonia, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle to be speeding on Route 20 in Sheridan. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified Wilson. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested and charged Wilson with two counts of DWI and speed in zone. He will answer his charges in Sheridan Town Court.

¯ FRENCH CREEK — On Dec. 14, Joseph R. Lindberg, 22, of Busti, was arrested for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent.

On Dec. 14, at about 2:40 a.m. Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle traveling on Mina-French Creek Road in French Creek with only one functioning brake light. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Joseph R. Lindberg.

Lindberg was taken into custody and charged with two counts of DWI and having inadequate brake lamps.

After processing, Lindberg was released with traffic tickets. He will appear in town of French Creek Court at a later date to answer his charges.

¯ William T Bergeron, 33, was arrested for allegedly failing to register his change of address with the New York State Sex Offender Registry.

On Nov. 12, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division received a tip that a registered sex offender failed to report his new address within 10 calendar days. Investigators determined that Bergeron was no longer living at his last reported address and failed to report his move to the NYS Sex Offender Registry which is a requirement under his sex offender status.

It was also learned that Bergeron was convicted of failing to register earlier this year which makes this new charge a class D felony.

On Dec. 16, Bergeron was located by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to Chautauqua County for centralized arraignment.

¯ GERRY — On Dec. 14, troopers arrested Donna Shaw, 50, of Liberty, Texas, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Shaw was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for a traffic violation and after failing several field sobriety tests, was placed under arrest. Shaw was transported to State Police Jamestown where she refused to provide a breath sample. Shaw was then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

≤ SHERIDAN — A car off the roadway lead to a driving while intoxicated arrest.

On Dec. 17, troopers out of Fredonia charged Samantha J. Nichols, 25, of Cassadaga with Driving While Intoxicated.

Troopers responded to a 911 call about a vehicle off of the roadway on Whitaker Road in the town of Sheridan. During the interview with Nichols, troopers noted signs of impairment, as well as failure of standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.

Nichols was arrested and transported to SP Fredonia for processing. She allegedly recorded a .10% blood alcohol content.

Nichols was released on appearance tickets returnable to the town of Sheridan court for a later date in December.
