¯ JAMESTOWN — On Jan. 3, troopers out of Jamestown arrested Mandy Hepler, 42, of Warren, Pa., on two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container.

Hepler was pulled over on Route 60 for traffic violations and during the traffic stop, Hepler was found to be in possession of concentrated THC and 14 oxycodone pills for which she did not have a prescription. Hepler was placed under arrest and processed at SP Jamestown. Hepler was then issued appearance tickets and traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court later in the month.

¯ ELLERY — On Jan. 5, Sally M. Lawson, 62, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

Deputies responded to an address in Ellery for an unwanted person. Upon further investigation, Lawson was charged. Lawson was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and will be arraigned in front of The Centralized Arraignment Program.
