¯ SILVER CREEK — On Jan. 26, Thomas P. Fleissner, 48 was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failing to stop at stop sign and speed in zone.

Police stopped a vehicle on Main Street in the village for an alleged vehicle and traffic violation. A roadside investigation revealed that Fleissner was driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hanover Substation for processing. After processing, Fleissner was released with traffic tickets. He will appear back in the village of Silver Creek court at a later date to answer the charges.

¯ JAMESTOWN — On Jan. 26, troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Jordan Eckwahl, 32, of Bemus Point, for felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Eckwahl was pulled over for speeding on Route 430 and after failing field sobriety tests, Eckwahl was placed under arrest. A search of Eckwahl and his vehicle revealed a rifle, several rounds of ammunition and a glassine envelope containing methamphetamine. Eckwahl was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .20. A check of Eckwahl’s driving record revealed that his driving privileges had been revoked due to a DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years, and a criminal history check revealed a felony conviction, prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. Eckwahl was then processed, issued appearance tickets and traffic tickets and released. Eckwahl is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.

Gowanda Police Department

¯ On Jan. 18, William D. Morris, 33, of Collins was arrested on a warrant.

A patrol responded to a Jamestown Street address for the report of a disturbance. Patrol was notified that when Morris was refused entry into the residence, he intentionally broke a door window in this residence. Morris had fled the area prior to the officer’s arrival. Police also learned of an active warrant for the arrest of Morris from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department. Police later located Morris and arrested him for third-degree criminal mischief and for the warrant. Morris was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Persia Court and he was then turned over to the Sheriff’s Department to process their warrant.

¯ On Jan. 19, Kevin M. Parsell, 39, was arrested for second-degree harassment.

Police responded to a harassment complaint involving Parsell. Patrol was informed that a female acquaintance had been at Parsell’s residence. When this female attempted to leave, a verbal altercation ensued. This verbal altercation escalated into a physical altercation with Parsell allegedly intentionally and forcibly pushing this female to the ground. Parsell was arrested and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Collins Court.

¯ On Jan. 19, Peter C. Wallace, 35 was arrested for alleged speed not prudent and reasonable, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation.

Patrol responded to the report of a roll over motor vehicle accident on West Hill Street. Patrol discovered that there were no injuries associated with this accident. Patrol further learned that Wallace was the operator of the involved vehicle. A DMV computer check revealed that Wallace’s license was revoked in 2009 for a driving while impaired conviction and his license was revoked again in 2014 for DWI. Wallace was arrested and then released on an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Persia Court.
