Forestville man charged with DWI after crash
SHERIDAN — A Forestville man is facing driving while intoxicated charges after a crash on South Roberts Road late Saturday afternoon.
State Police at Fredonia charged Ronald L. McKillip, 44, after investigating a one-car accident before 7 p.m. Troopers observed McKillip, exhibiting obvious signs of impairment and failure of standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SP Fredonia where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.11% BAC.
McKillip was released to a third party with an appearance ticket for Sheridan Town Court, where he is due to appear in June.
South Dayton man’s vehicle theft drives charges
LITTLE VALLEY — A South Dayton man is facing charges after taking a vehicle from here to a Westfield auto dealership.
Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies report Benjamin W. Burroughs, 24, of 7985 Kellogg Hill Road, took a 2020 black Dodge Ram from a driveway on Fair Oak Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and drove it to Westfield. He was nabbed by the Westfield Police Department and transferred to Cattaraugus County.
He is being charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and will answer charges later.
