On August 29, Shawn Arcara, 53 was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, driving a motor vehicle on and across a sidewalk, speeding, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The vehicle was seen by patrol going over the fog line and over the sidewalk twice and speeding. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was found that the offender’s license was revoked in 2015 for driving while intoxicated, suspended in 2019 for failure to answer a summons in the town of Holland, and suspended in 2016 for failure to pay driver responsibility assessment. Arcara was arrested and released on summonses.

On August 26, Chyngyz Omorov, 30, of Brooklyn was arrested for alleged log book violations, insufficient tail lamps, and operating a vehicle without stop lamps.

Patrol observed a tractor trailer with no brake lamps. When pulled over, the officer also discovered a tail light not working. When asked for information, the log book from Omorov had no entries whatsoever. He was arrested, issued three tickets, and released.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

FREWSBURG — Shaye A. Johnson, 48, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater. Deputies were called at 9:24 p.m. on Sunday to a report of an erratic vehicle in Frewsburg. The vehicle was located on Institute Street, and the driver was identified as Johnson. An investigation found that Johnson was allegedly intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Carroll Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA — John C. Fafalios, 70, of Belle Vernon, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies were notified Wednesday of a erratic driver on Route 394 in the town of Chautauqua. An investigation found that Fafalios was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.
