CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ GERRY — Nichol L. Gilbert, 29, and Kristian M. Wright, 20, both of Sinclairville, were taken into custody. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday on Old Chautauqua Road in the town of Gerry for a traffic violation. Two of the passengers were found to have active warrants. Gilbert was wanted for fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Wright was wanted on a charge of petit larceny. Both were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and will appear in court later.

¯ GERRY — Laura L. Park, 33, of Angola, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unregistered motor vehicle. Deputies were called at 10:26 p.m. Aug. 26 to Route 380 in the town of Gerry to check the wellbeing of the driver of a vehicle. The driver was identified as Park, who was later found to be allegedly operating the vehicle while impaired by the use of drugs. She was processed and released with tickets to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ STOCKTON — Janet M. Burnett, 32, of Stockton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, moving from lane unsafely, refusal to take a breath test, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle. Deputies were called at 8 p.m. Friday to Cummins Road in Stockton for a reported crash. It was learned that Burnett was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated and that her condition was likely a contributor in the crash. She is scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court later.

¯ SHERMAN — Lindsey E. Huval, 36, of Sherman, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment. Deputies responded at 8:14 p.m. Monday to Park Street in the town of Sherman for an harassment complaint. An investigation found that Huval allegedly communicated threats of physical harm or death to another person. She was transported to jail for arraignment.
