CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BEMUS POINT — James Q. Taylor, 47, of Ellicottville, was charged with theft of service. Deputies responded at 10:47 p.m. Friday to Bemus Point for a reported disorderly person. An investigation found that Taylor allegedly avoided payment of a lawful charge of service at a Bemus Point business.

¯ BEMUS POINT — Jason A. Maybach, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies responded at 9:23 p.m. Saturday to Bemus Point for a report of an unwanted person. An investigation found that Maybach allegedly operated a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released with tickets to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — Keenan G. Smith, 24, of Lakewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed over 55 mph. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 2:24 a.m. Sunday on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony. An investigation found that Smith was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Smith was issued tickets to appear in North Harmony Town Court later.

DUNKIRK POLICE

¯ Dennis Mercer, 23, of Olean, was arrested June 15 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Rodney Clyburn, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 16 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

¯ Adrian Rivera-Salome, 24, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 17 and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, six counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of second-degree menacing.

¯ Susan Lilly, 48, of Fredonia, was arrested June 18 and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Daniel Hempeck, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 21 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Norman Geddis, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property.

¯ Dakota Suggs, 27, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer.

¯ Jhazmine Mitchell, 19, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Messiak Gonzalez, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Felipe Lozada-Cruz, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with first-degree criminal nuisance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Jorge Medina-Tirado, 30, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 22 and charged with first-degree criminal nuisance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Pedro Morales-Martinez, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 23 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

¯ Parish Moreland, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 23 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.
