¯ Troopers out of Jamestown charged Jose Ruiz, 35, of Dunkirk, with driving while intoxicated and Leandra’s Law.

Ruiz was pulled over on Route 60 in Jamestown on July 29 for speeding and after failing several field sobriety tests, Ruiz was placed under arrest. Ruiz was transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.10. Ruiz was issued tickets and released.

He is scheduled to be in the town of Ellicott Court later. At the time of the traffic stop, there was a 5-year-old child in the back seat of the vehicle.

DUNKIRK POLICE

¯ Brian Kuzdale, 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 21 and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

¯ Heather Krull, 38, homeless, was arrested July 23 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Tammy Corns, 55, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 24 and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.

¯ John Liddick, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 26 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

¯ Alexander Santiago, 47, of Dunkirk, was arrested July 26 and charged with petit larceny.
