Four charged in Doughty Street raid

Four individuals are facing drug charges after a narcotics investigation this week, law enforcement announced Saturday morning.

On Thursday, members of the Dunkirk Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 56 W. Doughty St. in the city of Dunkirk for the second time in the past week. Entry was made into the residence by the Dunkirk Police Special Responses Team.

Located at the residence at the time of the search warrant were Dunkirk residents Kevin Dejesus-Rivera, 32, Christian Ayala-Gonzalez, 37, Yamil J. Carrasquillo-Torres, 47 and Jade B. Stocks, 25, of Cassadaga. As a result of the search Investigators seized 5.5 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $150. Dejesus-Rivera was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal nuisance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Stocks was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Christian Ayala-Gonzalez was charged with third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal nuisance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Carrasquillo-Torres was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree criminal nuisance. All suspects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned on the charges in the City of Dunkirk Court.
