JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Justina L. Rivera, 42, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault at 11:38 p.m. Monday after officers responded to a south side address for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers learned Rivera allegedly pushed a person into a wall causing physical injury. Rivera was later found in the area, charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.

– Pablo J. Figueroa of Jamestown was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, trespassing and second-degree obstructing governmental administration at 3 p.m. Monday after officers responded to a south side neighborhood for a report of a suspicious person on the property of a condemned structure. Officers contacted and attempted to identify the subject who was on the property when the officers arrived. Soon after, officers were led on a brief foot pursuit which ended a few blocks away. Officers were able to charge Figueroa. During an inventory search in the Jamestown City Jail, Figueroa was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and pills while also allegedly having outstanding bench warrants. Figueroa was held in the jail until he could be arraigned.

– Christopher J. Light and Aimee L Hogg, both of Jamestown, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 10 p.m. May 22 after officers pulled a vehicle over at the intersection of Forest and Hazeltine avenues. During the traffic stop, officers confirmed both occupants of the vehicle had confirmed warrants. During the stop, Light allegedly admitted to having fentanyl concealed on his person. During an inventory search at the Jamestown city jail, officers located a quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Light was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both Christopher and Aimee are being held pending arraignment for their warrants as well.

– Michael J. Connolly, 22, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 2:35 p.m. Sunday after officers were dispatched to a residence on the city’s north side for a reported fight. Upon investigation it was determined that a man identified as Michael J. Connolly allegedly damaged property inside the residence as well as violated an order of protection with a person in the home. Connolly was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Monica R. Pacheco, 41, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass and petit larceny at 5:40 p.m. Monday after deputies responded to a shoplifting complaint at a business in the town of Dunkirk. Pacheco was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Dunkirk Town Court later.

– James H Carter Jr., 18, of Brocton was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and prudent, improper plates and third-degree falsely reporting an accident after deputies responded to a reported crime in Arkwright at 10:54 p.m. May 22. Carter was given an appearance ticket and traffic citations to appear in Arkwright Town Court later.
