Man charged with hate crimes in home invasion

JAMESTOWN – A man has been taken into custody, accused of invading a person’s home based on the victim’s race. According to Jamestown Police, on Friday at about 2:15 p.m., officers from the first platoon responded to an address on the north side of the city for a home invasion. It was reported that a male had entered the home and was attempting to attack the occupants inside the home. MAYVILLE – A Brocton resident who worked as a corrections officer is facing charges for allegedly selling drugs to inmates. In October of 2025, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was requested by the Chautauqua County Jail Administration to investigate suspicious activity of an employee at the Chautauqua County Jail. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – Daryl D. Dunagan, 57, of Georgetown, NY has been charged with petit larceny. On Dec. 9 around 6 p.m. deputies responded to a business on Shortman Road in the town of Ripley for a past tense shoplifting complaint. It is alleged that Dunagan took merchandise and consumable goods from the business on multiple occasions. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that Anthony Burris, 35, of Ellicottville, who was convicted of two counts of enticing travel to engage in sexual activity, was sentenced to serve 7 1/2 years in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Woman injured in car-pedestrian accident SILVER CREEK — An adult female was transported to ECMC after a car-pedestrian accident Friday morning. Jamestown woman pleads guilty in federal drug case

A Jamestown woman has pleaded guilty to her involvement in a drug conspiracy. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that Susan Walker, 31, made the admission before the U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute — and to distribute — 40 grams or more of fentanyl, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 40 years, and a fine of $5 million.
