Donavan Paquette, 29, of Jamestown was sentenced by Judge David W. Foley to a state prison sentence of 6 years after being convicted of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. In November 2023, Paquette was arrested for a number of charges following a home visit in a joint operation with the Jamestown Police Department and the Chautauqua County Department of Probation as he was under the supervision of probation. Winslow, 35, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 2 with having an outstanding Jamestown City Court Warrant, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 9:54 p.m., officers responded to a southside residence for a report of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Winslow was being disorderly within the residence. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Deputies aided the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department Oct. 6th as firefighters responded to an East Slide Hill Road address for a reported fire in the town of Ripley. After extinguishing the fire, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to conduct an origin and cause fire investigation. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - David Jaglowski, 66, of Forestville, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree unlicensed operator. According to officials, at about 11:23 a.m., deputies responded to an address in Forestville for a possible criminal mischief complaint.
