SHERIDAN – Liberty Vineyards & Winery, of Sheridan, in conjunction with 3C’s Catering of Kennedy, is planning a Holiday Wine & Food Pairing Event for Dec. 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“The event will consist of five wine and food pairing stations, so guests can mingle and taste at their own pace,” Marketing and Special Events Manager Beth Margolis explained. “We expect this evening to be fun and informative and hope our guests leave ready to experiment with their own wine and food pairings with friends and family during the holiday season.”

Each station will consist of one or more hors d’oeuvres paired with a complimentary Liberty Vineyards’ wine.

The first station will include cheese and crackers with guest’s choice of wine, the second will feature caprese salad skewers and antipasto skewers served with Liberty Vineyards Sparkling Riesling for a festive touch.

The third station will feature cheese and bacon stuffed mush-rooms and bacon-wrapped water chestnuts paired with Liberty Vineyards Dry Diamond or Diamond wine. Station four will feature foods perfect for a casual holiday party or game-day get together – the station will feature chicken wing dip paired with Liberty Vineyards Purple Haze and pulled pork sliders paired Liberty’s best-selling Reds, Whites & Blues wine. Station five will feature a variety of desserts – red velvet cake truffles, Christmas cookies and fresh fruit paired with Liberty Vineyards Cool Cat, a late harvest wine, and Chocolette, a chocolate-flavored dessert wine. Liberty owners and staff will be on hand to answer questions about our wines and the winemaking process.

The event will be $26.50 plus tax per person. Reservations can be made by calling 672-4520 or online at www.libertywinery.com. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to make reservations early.

Liberty Vineyards & Winery is a small, family-owned winery producing over 20 wines in a variety of styles. The winery is located at 2861 Route 20 in Sheridan.
