Evans Bank appoints vice presidents

HAMBURG – Evans Bank is pleased to announce two new vice presidental appointments of David Lulas and Nicholas J. Alberalla, both commercial loan officers.

Lulas joined Evans in June 2008 as a credit analyst, was promoted to credit manager in 2010, and became a member of the commercial lending team in 2011. Lulas has made significant contributions, and was recently awarded the Evans 2013 Circle of Excellence Award for exceeding his annual loan production goals.

Prior to Evans, Lulas served as a senior credit analyst with Five Star Bank. He holds a master of business administration degree from St. Bonaventure University.

Alberalla joined Evans in December as commercial loan officer, focusing on business development throughout the branch network. Prior to Evans, Alberalla served as a small business banker at First Niagara Bank, and spent 12 years with Key Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College and will earn his master of business administration from St. Bonaventure University later this year.

“Both Dave and Nick are exemplary leaders and contributors to our commercial lending team,” said John Eagleton, chief lending officer. “They are integral to our success as we continue to diversify and grow our lending portfolio.”

Lulas is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the Board of Crusade Against Drunk Driving. He resides in North Collins with his family.

Alberalla serves as treasurer for Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY and is a member of Rotary Club of Buffalo. He resides in Orchard Park with his family.
