CCB to host homebuyers seminar

LITTLE VALLEY – Management at CCB (Cattaraugus County Bank) is pleased to announce that CCB will be hosting a “Homebuyers Seminar” on April 24 at Holiday Inn Express in Salamanca.

Three representatives from CCB will be hosting the event; Kathy Kaus (Vice President, Senior Retail Lender), Jeff Walker, assistant vice president of retail lending and underwriting and Nan Painter, assistant vice president and Salamanca branch manager. Joining CCB representatives will be a local attorney and a local real estate agent.

“Purchasing a home/getting a mortgage is a very thrilling experience,” states Nan Painter of CCB. “But it can also become overwhelming and daunting. We hope that folks attending this seminar will come away with knowledge about the entire process, making it easier for them. From pre-qualifying so they know what home they can afford, to searching for the house itself, to applying for the mortgage and lastly, what happens at closing of the loan. We now have more options than ever in the area of mortgage lending and being the only true, local, independent community bank in the area we look forward to helping the public.”

The seminar, which begins at 5 p.m., is free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to call CCB’s Salamanca Office (716-945-4350) by April 22 for reservations. Coffee and refreshments will be provided to those attending.

CCB is an FDIC insured New York state-chartered independent, community bank. From Jan. 2, 1902, CCB has established an unprecedented record of fiscal integrity and sound financial growth, which now totals $190 million in assets. CCB maintains convenient ATMs and more information can be found on the web at www.ccblv.com. CCB is an equal housing lender. CCB’s main office is located in Little Valley, with seven branch offices.
