With the snow disappearing and the weather becoming warmer, 21 Brix Winery is offering people several reasons to get out of their houses and visit the tasting room.

On Saturday, April 5, dig out your platform shoes, wigs and crazy clothes for the Disco Party! The party begins at noon and Disco Duck will begin performing at 1 p.m. Complimentary appetizers will be available and prizes will be given for best costumes so get your boogie shoes on and get ready to groove!

Later in the month, the Second Annual Adult Only Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place on Saturday, April 19. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. sharp, rain or shine. Not only will the eggs contain your favorite chocolates, but bottles of wine, corkscrews, cocktail napkins and other wine-related items will be stuffed in the larger-than usual eggs. The cost of the egg hunt is $8; paid reservations can be made by calling the winery directly at 792-2749. Spaces are limited so make sure to reserve your spot soon! A buffet lunch, for an additional $12, will also be served after the egg hunt so you can spend the afternoon at the winery enjoying your goodies and delicious wine!

The Beats at the Brix Music Series continues throughout the spring months. A different musician will be featured at the winery on the last Saturday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. The following musicians have been booked for the coming months: Heard of Buffalo on April 26; Sean Patrick McGraw (acoustic) on May 31 and The Untouchables on June 28. Admission is free and you can either bring your own snacks or enjoy cheese and cracker platters or tortilla chips and salsa, which are available through the tasting bar.
